Nanostructured Vanadium Dioxide Materials for Optical Sensing Applications

چکیده

Vanadium dioxide (VO2) is one of the strongly correlated materials exhibiting a reversible insulator–metal phase transition accompanied by structural from low-temperature monoclinic to high-temperature rutile near room temperature. Due dramatic change in electrical resistance and optical transmittance VO2, it has attracted considerable attention towards electronic device applications, such as switching devices, memory memristors, smart windows, sensors, actuators, etc. The present review provides an overview several methods for synthesis nanostructured solution-based chemical approaches (sol-gel process hydrothermal synthesis) gas or vapor techniques (pulsed laser deposition, sputtering method, deposition). This also presents stoichiometry, strain, doping engineering modulation strategies physical properties VO2. In particular, this describes ultraviolet-visible-near infrared photodetectors, switches, color modulators sensing applications associated with VO2 materials. Finally, current research trends perspectives are discussed.
